OBJECTIVES
Anti-Ragging Committee will be the supervisory and advisory committee in preserving a Culture of Ragging Free Environment in the College Campus. The main objectives of this committee are as follows:
- To create awareness among the students and sensitize them on the adverse effect of ragging.
- To create awareness on the legal implications related to ragging.
- To keep a continuous watch and vigilance over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
- Promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to our notice.
- To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished.
FUNCTIONS
- Displaying the charts and other material stating evil nature, punishment of Ragging and also student’s discipline.
- Creating awareness about anti ragging measures undertaken and orientation of new students with the anti-ragging committee and anti-ragging squad.
- Creation of cordial and free atmosphere for the students to have healthy interpersonal relationship among senior and new students.
- Involving seniors and fresher’s jointly in value based cultural and other activities.
- Entrusting the responsibilities jointly.
- Ensuring the spot solutions by adapting soft measures.
- In case of need, reporting to the nearest police station.
