To publish research material in appropriate media and to make available such published information to the end users.
To keep track and record of publications made by the faculty.
To publish an ISSN/referred research journal of the college on annual basis.
To assist institutions in improving teaching learning environment.
To develop research skills among the faculty and students.
To promote and to encourage the aspiring students and faculty members to carry out research by providing necessary facilities and infrastructures required for them.
To create zeal among the students towards research and innovation

To formulate policy on all research related matters.
To consider and make recommendations on matters of policy relating to research.
To review and oversee the implementation of school’s policy on research ethics.
To monitor the relevance and efficacy of established policy – addressing shortcomings and anomalies so as to facilitate high quality research activities within the school structures.
To oversee quality assurance and improvement measures in respect of research activity, including the efficacy of research quality measures.
To review Annual Reports relating to research matters and to make recommendations.
To approve procedures for allocating research funds and monitor their implementation.
To establish Advisory Committees and Working Groups as required to develop and oversee policy in respect of research matters.
To ensure smooth functioning and effective management.
To provide a focal point in the institution to co-ordinate activities between various departments, faculty members and research students of the respective institution.
To identify potential projects/sources of funds, and to communicate the same to the management.
Implementation, follow-up, progress and monitoring of on-going projects.
To assist in matters related to collaborative research with other agencies.
